Rocco Falconeri is the son of Dante Falconeri and Lesley Lu "Lulu" Spencer and was born on September 9, 2013. Dante and Lulu learned that Lulu couldn't carry a child to term so they harvested eggs. Dante and Lulu have three embryos are created. The first is implanted in Lulu's best friend Mariah Maxmilliana "Maxie" Jones. Maxie becomes pregnant but early in the pregnancy, she miscarries the child. Maxie then becomes pregnant with her own child with her ex-boyfriend Damian "Spinelli" Spinelli. Maxie decides to pass off her child as Dante and Lulu's child.
The second embryo is stolen by Liesl Obrecht and Britta "Britt" Westbourne and implanted in to Britt so that she could pass the child off as her child with ex-lover Patrick Drake in order to get him back. Britt uses the baby at every turn in order to get Patrick to leave his girlfriend Sabrina Santiago. Patrick finds out all the things that Britt. Britt ends up meeting Nikolas Cassadine and his son Spencer Cassadine. Nikolas takes pitty on Britt and invites her to move in with them.

Through out most of the pregnancy, Britt allows Patrick to believed that he is the father but when he threatens sue her for custody of the child once he is born, Britt reveals that he is not the father of the baby. Britt informs everyone that her friend Bradley "Brad" Cooper is the father. Patrick's girlfriend Sabrina Santiago comes confront Britt about lying about the baby's paternity and Britt goes into labor.
Britt names the baby boy Benjamin "Ben" Westbourne. After Ben's birth, Britt and Nikolas start dating and Nikolas becames a father to Ben. When Ben is about five months old, Elizabeth Webber discovers that Dante shares the same allergies to latex and certain friuts as Ben. Elizabeth later runs a DNA test on Ben which reveals that Dante is the Ben's father.
Elizabeth reveals that Dante is Ben's father and Britt confirms that Dante is the father but leaves out that Lulu is the Ben's biological mother. Dante starts spending time with Ben and Elizabeth later discovers a letter the Britt wrote revealing that Lulu is Ben's biological mother. Elizabeth reveals the truth a Nikolas and Britt's engagement party. But Liesl kidnaps the baby. Ben is later returned to Dante and Lulu. Dante and Lulu rename him Rocco.
